It was in 1979 when some handful of enthusiastic people of the newly constructed multistoreyed
building, named MeghaMallar, decided to organize Sree Sree Durga Puja in a purely residential manner.
With the help of Her Divine Blessings and also with the passage of time, this Puja has now become
one of the most prestigious residential Pujas pertaining to multistoreyed buildings in Kolkata. Meghamallar Samskriti and Krira Samsad has come a long way since then. It now has a rich history of 33 years. Purely
